Share and Receive Google+ Invitations in the Google+ Invitation Thread [Update: Closed for the Night] [Invitations]

Adam Pash ?Share and Receive Google+ Invitations in the Google+ Invitation Thread [Update: Closed for the Night]A few minutes ago, Google+ started allowing current users to invite friends. Which means the official Google Plus Invites thread is open. Here are the rules.

Share and Receive Google+ Invitations in the Google+ Invitation Thread [Update: Closed for the Night]If you've got invitations to hand out (when logged into Google+, you should see a button like the one at right), post how many invites you're willing to invite at the Google+ Invites thread.

Important: Only people who have invitations to share should start threads on the invites thread.

If you want an invitation:

  1. Post a reply to a thread once with your email address.
  2. Only post once. I know I said that already, but seriously. The thread will fill up fast
  3. If you're lucky, one of the kind souls offering you an invitation will send one your way. It may take a little time for Google to send out the invites, so be patient?give it at least a day before you ask for an invite again.
  4. Pay it forward! If you get an invite, come back and offer some to your fellow readers.

That's all there is to it. I'll be handing out as many as I can for the next 30 minutes or so, and I'll see if I can get another writer or two in here to do the same. Happy plus-ing.

Update: Google's closed new invitations for now. We'll let you know when it opens back up.
