Oil settles above $97 a barrel (AP)

Oil rose on Tuesday as the dollar weakened and concerns about Europe's economy eased. Here's how energy contracts traded:

On the New York Mercantile Exchange:

Crude rose $2.28 to settle at $97.43 per barrel.

Gasoline gained 2.77 cents to settle at $3.0982 per gallon

Heating oil added 0.01 cents to settle at $3.0876 per gallon

Natural gas rose 3.5 cents to settle at $4.312 per 1,000 cubic feet.

On the ICE Futures exchange:

Brent crude added 51 cents to settle at $117.75 per barrel.
