United SGP Stehen for iPad 2
We've always been generally impressed with the quality of leather products from United SGP, and it has continued its run with its newest release, Stehen ($85-$88) for iPad 2. The folio-style case cradles the device in a reinforced shell. Both the top and bottom edges are left slightly exposed, which enables access to the headphone port, microphone, Sleep/Wake button, and Dock Connector port. In addition, there are holes for the rear camera, side switch, and volume rocker. The speaker is covered in a mesh grill. Somewhat floppily attached to the back is a front cover that is divided into two segments. As with many cases today, magnets inside the cover activate the iPad 2's automatic locking feature. It can also be used to form two different standing angles when bent and tucked into either of the flaps on the back. Black, red, pink, and blue versions are available, with a full grain vintage brown model at a few dollars more.
