Tennis Instructor
MediFit Corporate Services is a leading provider of onsite fitness and wellness solutions across the US. We currently have an opportunity for a Part-Time Tennis Instructor in Marblehead, MA. Flexible scheduling!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

• Design and instruct effective classes to a wide range of clientele and fitness levels, including high risk participants.
• Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with class participants by interacting regularly with all students and providing personal attention and/or instructional modifications when appropriate throughout class.
• Promote tennis instruction by encouraging class participants to continue development.
• Cross-promote revenue generating programs (such as aquatics) to class participants
• Challenge class participants.
• Ensure court and equipment is properly maintained before and after each class reporting any needs or issues to the Sports and Recreation Manager.
• Accurately log class attendance and note any specific participant feedback to Group Exercise Coordinator.
• Encourage and solicit feedback from students and report back to Sports and Recreation Manager.
• Acting in accordance with class will never be cancelled service standard, will find coverage for class and will return all calls/emails from other instructors seeking coverage.
• Attend all staff meetings.
• Maintain all certifications, including CPR/AED and First Aid, in good standing.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current nationally recognized certification (Tennis Professional Certification and/or Certificate of Completion of a USTA Recreational Coaches Workshop);
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification
• At least three years successful tennis instruction experience
• Instructors must demonstrate knowledge of modifying instructional methods for high risk clientele
• Outgoing, enthusiastic personality and excellent communication skills are essential
• Superior customer service skills
