Why not get Russia and Iran involved in a ceasefire and UN plan instead?
This is one aspect of the proposed war in Syria that terrifies me most. ?I don?t have the same thinking as the writers of the above article. ?But I have thought a lot about what, exactly, the US and the crony companies that it supports have to gain in Syria.
Yes, there are untapped oil reserves, but again, Assad is a moderate dictator, one we deal with all the time and throughout the early 2000s were quite friendly with. ?Kerry even called Assad his ?dear friend? after he dined with him.
I then thought, maybe the US wants to have a controlling stake in all the land from the East Mediterranean to Afghanistan, effectively owning the entire Middle East as feudal states? in which strangely enough we pay tribute to them in the form of military assistance and cash in exchange for their oil.
If this is the goal, the question then becomes how to attack Iran. ?The American public is war weary. ?A war with Iran would be even more difficult than the war in Iraq. ?So what if our warmongers in office just decided to use a smokescreen to get their war with Iran without actually building up to war with Iran?
Today this thought came to me and paralyzed me, because it makes sense. ?We know that Iran is helping their ally Assad fight Al Qaeda in Syria. ?We know Iran has launched covert opps in Iraq against Government/Corporate interests. ?What Washington DC and the neocons want is for Iran to make a mistake in Syria. ?They want Iran to overtly attack us in Syria in some capacity. ?They want this to happen so they can immediately flip a switch and begin our war against Iran.
It?s the perfect plan, a modern day USS Maine. ?They draw Iran into a mini war in Syria and we false-flag or they too overtly attack us. ?Boom! ?We?ve got full blown war with Iran. ?Which has been the neocon dream all along, as warned by General Wesley Clark
Very scary thought.
