Skype for Windows and Mac updated

Today Skype have released updates to the Windows and Mac version of the?their desktop app (not the Windows Store version). Version 6.2 for Windows includes a re-designed toolbar which has Skype says brings Home, Calling, Groups and Contacts together. Also added is eGifting which is a way to gift Skype credit to another Skype users.

Also updated today is the Mac version of Skype. Version 6.2 for the Mac has the same eGifting feature as the Windows version and has one-way SMS sending so you can send a SMS from Skype without having to register a mobile number.

New Toolbar: Re-designed top toolbar to bring together main actions in one place. Skype users will now have central access to Home, Calling Phones, Creating Groups and Adding Contacts all just above their contact list and recent conversations.
