Dr. Phil's '57 Chevy stolen from repair shop

By Justin Ravitz. Us Weekly

Dr. Phil suffered a huge blow on Monday. The TV psychologist, 61, is short one classic car after his 1957 Chevrolet convertible was stolen from a Burbank, Calif. auto repair shop.

Dr. Phil was spotted with the top down on his classic '57 Chevy convertible on Aug. 3. The car, reportedly worth $100,000, was later stolen from a repair shop.

TMZ reports that the star and classic car collector (full name: Phillip McGraw) had been attempting to start the beloved vehicle, suffering transmission problems, at his Beverly Hills home. He finally had the car transported via flatbed to the repair shop.

Hours later, the shop informed McGraw that the convertible, worth $100,000, had been stolen. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the thiefs smashed a roll-up door at the repair shop in order to swipe the classic car.

Dr. Phil has yet to comment on the theft.

NTSB: Doomed plane topped speed limits in race

A highly modified vintage aircraft was pushed beyond its structural limits before it crashed into spectators at last year's National Championship Air Races in Reno, according to the findings being presented to the National Transportation Safety Board on Monday in Washington.

Loose screws on a crucial tail assembly are also blamed in the September 2011 crash that killed 74-year-old pilot Jimmy Leeward and 10 people on the ground and injured more than 70.

This year's Reno Air Races start Sept. 12.

The five-member NTSB has already issued several preliminary reports and recommendations for the Federal Aviation Administration and race organizers to improve safety.

NTSB officials said Leeward's World War II-era P-51 Mustang fighter reached 530 mph before it pitched skyward and then slammed nose-first into rows of box seats.

The five-member panel is not expected to call for restrictions on the event.

Leeward, a former stunt pilot and Reno Air Races veteran who lived in Ocala, Fla., named his vintage aircraft the Galloping Ghost.

NTSB officials say he reached 530 mph during a qualifying race before the aircraft pitched skyward, rolled upside down and slammed nose-first into the tarmac amid rows of box seats. Debris and body parts were scattered for more than an acre.

Photos showed a tail stabilizer falling from the plane during the steep climb.

NTSB Chairman Deborah Hersman said in April the climb exerted sudden high gravitational forces that appeared to have incapacitated Leeward as blood rushed from his brain. Instruments aboard the aircraft showed the acceleration topped nine times the force of gravity ? well above a 5G threshold at which people begin to experience loss of consciousness.

In addition to loose screws, a preliminary NTSB report on Tuesday focused on the possibility that a sudden gust of wind or turbulence from a nearby plane buffeted Leeward's aircraft just before the crash. The report said a definitive conclusion wasn't possible.

Leeward's age and physical condition weren't considered significant factors in the crash.

Alcohol detected in Leeward's remains by the Washoe County medical examiner's office was attributed to aviation fuel contamination, and NTSB investigators noted that spectators' alcoholic beverages were scattered around the crash crater.

The air race championship, entering its 49th year, is the only event of its kind in the world. It draws thousands every year to Reno Stead Airport, where it features aircraft flying at speeds of over 500 mph sometimes wingtip-to-wingtip around an oval pylon track.

The crash spawned civil liability lawsuits against the pilot's family and mechanics and the host organization.

Some critics called for ending the event, but organizers pressed forward with plans for this year's races amid promises that most NTSB safety recommendations would be implemented.

The National Air-racing Group Inc. and the Reno Air Racing Association Inc. balked at requiring pilots to wear flight suits designed to mitigate high gravitational forces. They said the expensive suits might prove too bulky for cramped cockpits and too hot during competition.

Insurance premiums jumped from $300,000 last year to $2 million this year, but the Nevada state tourism commission last month approved a $600,000 sponsorship to help the Reno Air Racing Association Inc. meet a Sept. 1 deadline for its final insurance payment.

Every 4 years, something more than just politics

WASHINGTON (AP) ? So much can change in four years.

Some 16 million babies have been born in the United States since 2008, the last year the Democrats and Republicans met to anoint their presidential nominees. Kids who were toddlers then are starting kindergarten now; that year's nervous high school freshmen are beginning college or work, or at least anxiously looking for jobs.

Nearly 10 million Americans have died, including political lights Geraldine Ferraro, Betty Ford and Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, who bade his dramatic convention farewell four years ago.

The Iraq war is over, the war in Afghanistan winding down. Osama bin Laden is dead. Yet Guantanamo Bay still holds 168 terror suspects. And too little has changed in a discouraging economy since 2008.

The political conventions are back to ask again if we, as individuals and a nation, are better off than we were four years ago. That raises the question, where will we be four years from now?

It's fashionable these days to complain that the party gatherings no longer matter, that they're just phony made-for-TV moments ? speeches and sappy films and balloon drops strung together into protracted campaign commercials. That's true, as far as it goes.

The conventions no longer matter in picking presidential nominees. But that's because the choosing moved from the old smoke-filled rooms and rowdy delegate halls to a months-long carnival of democracy: debates and caucuses and primary voting across the country.

The conventions are made for TV. But that means made for all to see, across America and even the world. And the audience now gets to talk back, drafting its own instant platform via Twitter and Facebook and all our other electronic impulses.

The conventions are taxpayer-subsidized political commercials. But if they were only that, few would watch. We've seen too many mean ads already. By now most voters have made up their minds about Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, anyway.

At their best, every four years, these mud-slinging, self-serving, partisan-by-definition displays rise to offer something more: moments that transcend politics.

Together, the two conventions make up a national stock-taking, a pause to remember our roots, figure out who we are and decide what's truly important, without feeling too hokey about it. Like a virtual family reunion, Americans gather around their televisions, computers or smartphones to argue or agree, celebrate the good stuff, mourn our losses and regret our mistakes, to regroup, to look ahead.

The conventions are Barbara Jordan, Jesse Jackson and Obama, their very presence on the podium insisting that the American dream no longer be deferred. And Ferraro and Sarah Palin and Hillary Rodham Clinton, bursting through doors once locked to them.

They are the thousands of Vietnam War protesters chanting outside the 1968 Democratic meeting, who couldn't be silenced by the tear gas and billy clubs of the Chicago police.

They are Robert Kennedy eulogizing the slain president who was also his big brother Jack. Nancy Reagan telling America that its Great Communicator is being hushed by Alzheimer's. Mary Fisher pleading with the nation to come to its senses and find its compassion so her children wouldn't feel ashamed someday to say out loud their mother died of AIDS.

Every four years, the political conventions come along to remind us how wrong we were about some things in the past. And that we know nothing, really, about what's to come.

It's no coincidence that Ronald Reagan, a genius at wielding metaphor, chose to speak at the 1976 GOP convention about what he would write in a time capsule letter to the future.

The conventions are time capsules, lovingly created and then buried in the rush to Election Day.

Dig through past conventions, their speeches and platforms, and you'll find a record not just of Americans' politics but also of their worries and fears, longings and dreams. Not just how the parties gave us Abraham Lincoln and Franklin Roosevelt. But also how passion to do something about slavery and civil rights and women's rights and poverty percolated up from the people and into the convention halls and the White House.

This year's speakers will talk about gay marriage, religious freedom, women's health, the national debt, joblessness. And someone may say something in a way that sticks in the national consciousness and helps build a consensus that one day, in hindsight, will seem blazingly obvious.

Conventions are far from perfect. Too much of their time is wasted on things parochial and elitist and just silly. Not much has changed since Bob Dole summed up the GOP event of 1980: "The introducers spoke longer than the speakers. And the speakers spoke too long."

But what else have we got? Self-consciously triumphant inaugurals, ponderous State of the Union speeches. Debates promise some spontaneity, but they're too narrow, focused only on four candidates.

The conventions are a political Olympics, democracy as spectator sport: Score the best efforts of mayors and governors and senators who might be president someday. Catch those candidates and insiders who claim to hate Washington and loathe politics openly reveling in the raucous, strapping national debate, whatever they prefer to call it. Watch regular folks still willing to turn out, in silly hats and buttons, to cheer for something they believe in.

Sure, it can feel predictable. But that's something to be grateful for ? a sign that today's primaries are running fairly smoothly and the nation's many troubles are less devastating than the crises of the past.

Isn't that a good thing so long as it lasts?

After all, the political stage managers won't be able to corral the chaos outside or quiet rising voices within the hall if America faces another crisis as deep as the Depression, another war as despised as Vietnam, another moral test as big as civil rights.

Union files complaint for stifling talk at Boeing

    TACOMA, Wash. ?

A union representing Boeing engineers and technical workers has filed unfair labor practice charges with the National Labor Relations Board accusing the company of stifling discussion at its plants.

The News Tribune (http://is.gd/chIyHK) reports the union, the Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace, claims the company told employees they were banned from making negative comments about Boeing.

The union said Boeing company representatives made those remarks at an employee orientation meeting last week.

The charges were filed as Boeing and SPEEA are negotiating for a new contract. Their present contract expires Oct. 6.

Boeing spokesman Tim Healy says the company has not yet seen the complaint and can't comment on its specifics. He says Boeing doesn't prohibit its employees from voicing their own opinions about the company.

    legal information literacy

Murraysm, jpeg Margolis_smIn a thought-provoking new article, Ellie Margolis and Kristen Murray urge us to "Say Goodbye to the Books: Information Literacy as the New Legal Research Paradigm".

    Here's their summary:
"Legal research technology has changed dramatically in the last fifteen years, and it is time for law school legal research programs to catch up. Students entering law school are increasingly less comfortable with using print materials, and at the same time, electronic search technology is no longer modeled on a print-based system. Current legal research pedagogy, developed in the context of a print-based research environment, is waning in utility and may soon be moot. In order to give law students the skills to conduct effective legal research, and to adapt those skills to future technological development, we need to rethink how we teach and assess legal research.

"This article argues that we should make information literacy the foundation of legal research instruction. By reframing the goal of legal research instruction as increasing the information literacy (specifically, the legal information literacy) of our students, we will be able to leverage the research skills they already possess and instill in them skills that are transferable to the legal research tools of tomorrow. The article first traces the history of how legal research is taught and introduces the idea of information literacy as a new way of thinking about legal research instruction. It then presents the results of our survey of incoming law students? research training, habits, practices, and beliefs. Finally, it discusses how the theory of information literacy and our survey results can be used to rethink the way legal research is taught. With this in mind, we can begin to develop methods of research instruction that result in an increased level of legal information literacy, no matter the students? starting points."

Germany starts ratifying new bank capital rules

(AP) ? Germany has begun the process of ratifying new rules requiring banks to build higher capital defenses against financial shocks ? and hopes other European countries will quickly follow suit.

Chancellor Angela Merkel's Cabinet approved draft legislation Wednesday to implement the so-called Basel III rules requiring lenders to gradually increase their highest-quality capital from 2 to 7 percent of the risky assets they hold.

EU finance ministers agreed to adopt the rules in May but negotiations with the European Parliament to finalize details are continuing. German officials want to finish that process soon so the rules can take effect Jan. 1, 2013.

Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said the German move is "a signal of how important we consider the issue" and added: "I hope our partners in Brussels feel this urgency."

Ready For Your Moment? : Darren LaCroix | World Champion of ...

Email this article to a friend?Email this article to a friend

Ever competed in anything?? How did you react to winning?? How did you react to not winning?? Last week the Olympics came to a close.? Just a few days ago the World Championship of Public Speaking took place. So many emotions. So many reactions.

If the competition were judged on the best practice run, the results could have changed.? Practice is important, but the contest is judged on performance under the pressure. It all comes down to ?your moment.?? There is so much riding on that one moment.? There are so many truthful stories on the faces of the competitors and their families after the results are in.? Whether it?s a world championship competition, a presentation to your big client or that life-changing conversation with your child, what happens in a moment can change the path of your life and someone else?s.

Twenty years ago, while listening to Brian Tracy?s audio programs, I remember him quoting Abraham Lincoln when talking about his numerous loses while trying to achieve his political goals.

?I will study and prepare myself and someday my chance will come.?

Wow.? It still resonates with me today.

    ?

Three important questions for each of your moments:

    1) Have you fully prepared for your moment?

Did you ask for advice from people qualified to answer? People who have wisdom based on experience?? Often we seek out advice from people whom we know will give us the answer we want to hear.? When we fully prepare, we ask people who speak from experience and will give us the truth? even if we don?t want to hear it.

I had a pastor contact me with a question.? During our conversation I learned that he never prepared for his sermon.? When questioned, he told me he just allowed the inspiration to flow through him.? I?m not against being spontaneous. However, I honestly believe that he would deliver a more complete and inspirational sermon if energy was put into preparation.? I?m willing to bet if we listened to a recording of one of those sermons there may be some brilliant thoughts, but probably a lot of blah, blah, blah in between.

Sometimes life might not allow us to fully prepare because higher priorities may sometimes prevail, but in my opinion there is no excuse for not preparing.?? I heard famous collegiate football coach, Lou Holtz, say that he?ll excuse any mistake, except the lack of preparation.? David Brooks, 1990 World Champion of Public Speaking tell me, ?Darren let no one out prepare you.? Great advice!

    2) What will you do with your moment?

What if you won? What would you do with that?

What if? you lost? What would you do with that??

In the World Championship of Public Speaking many competitors believe that winning equals an instant career.? No. It does not.? You may get invited to give many free speeches, but it comes with no golden ring.? There are many speakers who do not win and earn much more than I do.? There are many winners who do not speak full time. That?s cool. It is a choice. I?m no better than they are. I just chose to do something different with my moment.

I?m far from the best speaker who won.? I am a great marketer however. Therefore more people may know about my win.? I?ve invested a great deal of time on YouTube marketing and over $100,000 in advertising and promotions.? I loved learning that Harry Houdini may not have been the best magician of his time.? He was, however, the best marketer.

If your results were not favorable, remember there is a fine line between being disappointed and being bitter.? In 1998 I was bitter when losing a humorous speech contest to someone with a hefty amount of old jokes.? I boycotted Toastmasters for three years because of it, yet I lacked the confidence to even lodge a protest.? I?m not sure if you were aware or not, but Toastmasters went on without me in 1999.? I grew up and was urged by mentors, ?Darren, it?s not about writing a new speech. It?s about making your speech so good, people will pay to hear it.?

Wow! Talk about a new perspective! I ended up competing in 2001 for the purpose of improving the stories I was already telling in my keynote speech.? The cool part about that was, even though I won every time I gave it, I kept working on it even if I did not get a trophy.? The result was that my keynote improved.

Watching the Olympics this year, I enjoyed being reminded of the story of Dan Jansen who slipped on the ice while speed skating after hearing news of his sister dying.? He came back four years later to compete again and fell again.? Another four years after that he won gold.? Maybe there were lessons he needed to learn from the earlier mistakes that taught him the exact lessons he needed to win.

    3) Will you appreciate you moment?

Whatever level you reach there are many people who did not make it that far.? It is normal to be disappointed, but will you appreciate and recognize what you did right to get there?? After the World Championship I often tell the people who did not place that there are 34,991 people (out of the 35,000 who compete) who wish they were you.? They wish they just had a chance for their moment on the big stage.

Joshua, a speech competitor from Canada, told me he had to hear the advice I give losing contestants who believe they were ?robbed? by the judges.? He had heard that I recommend waiting two weeks and watch a video of your contest speech and see if you can?t see what some of the judges saw. If you have the Own the Stage check list Craig Valentine and I created, use that while watching your video.? I loved Joshua?s honesty when he told me recently, he really thought his situation was different and he really was robbed.? He watched his speech two weeks later and he saw the flaws.? That takes a strong person to tell me that.? I think he was the first. I usually never hear from people again after I suggest that.

Coaching people in the speech contest was interesting again this year.? It is amazing the levels of ?coachability.?? Every person is different.? One that stood out was Claudia from Mexico.? She was incredibly coachable. She wanted to hear it all. She loved brutal honesty.? Though she is a great performer, she was challenged opening up and being conversational. When I pointed out that she was not opening up, she grew immeasurably as a speaker during the process.?? My favorite comment of hers was, ?I did not only become a better speaker, but also a better person.?? Wow, I love to hear that. She threw her whole self into the process and was willing to challenge herself.

Sadly, Claudia did not place at the semi-final level, but I was inspired by how much she appreciated just being there.?? She is a poster-woman for appreciation and faith.? I can learn from her example.? We all can.

How about you?? Do you fully prepare for your moments?? What will you do with your moment?? Will you appreciate your moment?

Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts?.

Republican lawmaker skinny-dipped on Israel trip-aides

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A group of Republican lawmakers and staff jumped into Israel's Sea of Galilee last year after a night of dining and drinking, and one freshman congressman swam naked, Republican aides confirmed late on Sunday.

The incident, first reported by Politico on Sunday, was investigated by the FBI and led Republican leaders in the House of Representatives to reprimand the 30 lawmakers on the privately funded trip.

Representative Kevin Yoder stripped naked before jumping into the Sea of Galilee after dining and drinking at a waterside restaurant in the town of Tiberias, Politico reported, citing more than a dozen sources, including eyewitnesses. Other participants, including the daughter of another congressman, swam fully clothed, while some lawmakers partially disrobed, Politico reported.

Two senior Republican aides who spoke on condition of anonymity confirmed the report's accuracy. Yoder's office was not immediately available for comment.

Politico quoted Yoder as saying in a statement about the incident that he and his wife, Brooke, joined some colleagues for dinner.

"After dinner I followed some members of Congress in a spontaneous and very brief dive into the sea and, regrettably, I jumped into the water without a swimsuit," Yoder said in the statement.

"It is my greatest honor to represent the people of Kansas in Congress and (for) any embarrassment I have caused for my colleagues and constituents, I apologize," the statement read.

The August 2011 trip was sponsored and paid for by the American Israel Educational Foundation, which is affiliated with AIPAC, an influential pro-Israel advocacy group.

Representatives Steve Southerland, Tom Reed, Ben Quayle, Jeff Denham and Michael Grimm were among the more than 20 lawmakers and staff that jumped into the Sea of Galilee, Politico said.

Senior aides to House Majority Leader Eric Cantor and House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy also went swimming in the freshwater lake, which is where Christians believe that Jesus walked on water.

Politico quoted sources as saying that neither Cantor nor McCarthy participated in the late-night dip and Cantor later rebuked his Republican colleagues over the incident.

Kenya searches for Uganda chopper crash victims

Kenyan emergency teams searched for a third day Wednesday for four personnel still unaccounted for after three Ugandan military helicopters crashed at the weekend, officials said.

Another body was found Wednesday inside the burnt wreckage of one helicopter, taking the number confirmed dead to three, said Kenyan army spokesman Bogita Ongeri.

"Search and rescue operations are underway and our teams are on the mountain," said Simon Gitau, a senior warden with the Kenya Wildlife Service, which is assisting in the rescue operations.

The Russian-made Mi-24 combat helicopters went down in a remote mountain region, near snowcapped Mount Kenya, on Sunday while en route to support African Union troops in war-torn Somalia.

One helicopter was found on Monday, with all seven servicemen on board rescued. The wreckage of the two other aircraft were found Tuesday, with one aircraft badly burned.

Three bodies were found in the charred wreck of one, but eight survivors from the other aircraft trekked eight kilometres (five miles) through dense forests in search of help, and were airlifted to Nairobi on Tuesday.

The Ugandan army said in a statement: "Our hearts are with those family members whose dear ones we are still searching for."

The aircraft came down in thickly forested mountainous terrain dominated by Mount Kenya, Africa's second-highest peak at 5,199 metres (17,057 feet).

Wild animals including elephants, leopards and rhinos prowl the forests, about 110 kilometres (70 miles) north of the capital Nairobi.

Uganda, which has blamed poor weather for the crashes, provides around a third of the nearly 17,000-strong AU force in Somalia.

Kampala had said last week that it would send its first combat and transport helicopters to the Horn of Africa nation.

The aircraft were seen as key to extending gains made against the hardline Shebab insurgents, who have fled a string of stronghold towns in recent months, stretching AU military resources over a far wider zone.

(AP) ? These aren't your typical loos. One uses microwave energy to transform human waste into electricity. Another captures urine and uses it for flushing. And still another turns excrement into charcoal.

They are part of a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation competition to reinvent the toilet for the 2.5 billion people around the world who don't have access to modern sanitation.

Scientists from around the world have taken up the challenge, and the foundation announced some projects Tuesday that will be getting more money to take their ideas from the lab to cities.

There, local entrepreneurs will use the new technology to turn pollution into cash.

"We couldn't be happier with the response that we've gotten," Bill Gates said.

To pass the foundation's threshold for the world's next toilet, it must operate without running water, electricity or a septic system, not discharge pollutants, preferably capture energy or other resources, and operate at a cost of 5 cents a day.

The United Nations estimates disease caused by unsafe sanitation results in about half the hospitalizations in the developing world. About 1.5 million children die each year from diarrheal disease.

Scientists believe most of these deaths could be prevented with proper sanitation, along with safe drinking water and improved hygiene.

The foundation expects to field test its first prototypes within the next three years.

Most of the prototypes on display this week in the open courtyard of the foundation's Seattle headquarters turn solid waste into energy. This is both a practical and pragmatic solution to the solid waste puzzle, said Carl Hensman, program officer for the foundation's water, sanitation and hygiene team.

Many recycle waste into other usable substances such as animal feed, water for irrigation, or even just energy and water to run their own systems.

Some, like the winning project from Caltech, use chemistry and engineering to completely transform the waste.

Clement Cid, a Caltech grad student from Trouillas, France, said it has been intellectually rewarding to work with scientists from a variety of specialties.

"You can come up with great ideas," he said, adding that the toilet fair offered more opportunities for idea sharing.

Other projects on display were not so high-tech, including one from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine that sends black soldier fly larvae inside latrines and even home toilets to process waste, resulting in high quality, environmentally friendly animal feed at a cost of a penny a day.

The fly larvae project is already being field tested in Cape Town, South Africa, and the inventors are working on a kit to sell to entrepreneurs. They have had inquiries from Haiti, Sudan, Kenya and Ghana about adopting the approach.

"At the end of the day it will look very low-tech, but there's a lot of science behind it," said Walter Gibson, a medical biochemist who is part of the development team.

The Gates toilet focus started just about a year ago, and including grants announced Tuesday, $370 million in foundation dollars have been committed to reinventing the toilet. Hensman said the foundation decided to hold a toilet fair this week to show how far the scientists have gotten in that time, and to give them an opportunity to learn from each other and potentially collaborate.

Among those scheduled to attend the toilet fair were government ministers from African nations, utility workers and potential financial partners like UNICEF and Oxfam.

Reinventing the toilet has the potential to improve lives as well as the environment.

Flush toilets waste tons of potable drinking water each year, fail to recapture reusable resources like the potential energy in solid waste and are simply impractical in so many places.

Gates predicted the result of this project would reach beyond the developing world.

"If we do it right, there's every possibility that some of these designs would also be solutions for rich and middle-income countries," Gates said.

The real reason I race ? Tri Fatherhood

    Dear Izzy, Max, and Kate,

Sunday after church you handed me this, Izzy:

It wasn?t by accident. In your 8 years of life you?ve always delivered the voice of truth in our home. I had just finished complaining to Mommy about a recent run of ?bad luck? that we?ve had at home in the last few months with appliances breaking, both of our vehicles breaking down, hospital bills, dental bills, and other unexpected emergencies. The truth is, I was whining and feeling sorry for myself.

You brought things into focus for your dad.

That emotion set off a discussion with Mommy about how most people go through life, constantly trying to get more, meanwhile oblivious to their temporary place in the grand scheme. Life is flying by. Their children are growing up. The whole thing is a short journey and we?re missing it. We distract ourselves by chasing. Hopeful that more will dull the challenges, and make the victories more meaningful.

Day by day. Minute by minute. Second by second. Life?s short.? And I?m worried that this months dental bill won?t allow us to eat out as often. That?s a serious 1st world problem.

    Life is hard.

    And it?s relative.

I talked myself in circles as Mommy listened patiently. Then as I often do, I found a way to talk about triathlon in the context of the conversation. I thought about why I do it. The real reason. And how I feel in the moment that reason is realized each time I race.

I race, because it takes everything else away. It?s a renewing of my mind. Somewhere mid-way through the run of any race, regardless of the distance, but especially in half-iron (and I presume Ironman) my mind goes blank. Completely. What I do for a living is gone. My previous successes in life are gone. My failures are gone. My position in life is irrelevant. My dreams, and hopes, and fears, are gone. The problems of the world around me are erased. I?ve tried thinking about my family when the real hurt comes, but even that image doesn?t last. I wish it helped. But nothing does. The same holds true for those racing in front, beside, and behind me. The pain takes over. Their challenges and fears are gone too. We?re all stuck in that moment, by our choosing and the only thing worse than that black hole of physical suffering would be stopping ? and coming back to the real world.

In those painful closing miles I can go to a dark place where all that matters is getting to the finish line. It?s a black hole, where I want both the finish, and for it to last forever. I?ve cried at finish lines ? not because I was happy it was over, but because it was over. And for a short time afterwards I?m just a man ? like everyone else. Exhausted from the experience, but seldom more alive.

In the days following any event modern life begins to grip me again. Slowly at first. But eventually I forget that we?re all the same. Life resumes its heirarchies. The marketing messages burn deep. Obligations and promises. Expectations. And the monster of wanting more. So, I think about the black hole. I love all of you so much that it?s important for me to go back as often as I can. I come back renewed each time and more aware that there?s more to this journey than what?s on the surface. I?m grateful there?s always a next time for me. And I can escape back into the quiet cleansing darkness.
    Je t?aime mon bebes,

Daytrading, Stock Trading, Investing and Forex Trading ? The 101 ...

Others return to their old job, irritated and alarmed of ever doing anything different and giving up on their hopes of the life they need to live. There are several traders who make trading their sole occupation. Here's a story about a man?? Bill has work as a plumber. These programs only target penny shares and deliver literally the most successful stock picks to be found in the market because penny stocks and shares have a rep of dramatically jumping in worth in an exceedingly short term due to their less expensive costs leave them open to more trading influence from the outside.

He's so bored with crawling under homes and the commonly daft demands of his supervisor. I generally say that penny stocks and shares and stock-trading Bots were made for one another, and it's simply for this very reason like it can discern the good picks from the bad, you can make a large amount of money in the near term. Look for a full refund guarantee because this is both an indication of good faith from the publisher and proof that they are pushing a credible programme, but also at the exact same time you can test the programme first hand before absolutely committing to it. It?s straightforward enough to do because you do not have to invest any money, instead you can doublecheck the performances of the picks which it generates for you in the market to find out how well they do in order that you can know regardless of whether you should be making an investment in its next string of picks. * There are new technologies out there now that will considerably increase the chances for successful stock market dealing. They're also comparatively cheap and convenient to use.

The fantastic thing about the stockmarket trading software is the proven fact that they're programmed to recognise the trends and warn you of which stocks are probably going to be good to make an investment in. If you're think about making an investment in a stockmarket dealing software then it might be to your benefit to learn all you are able to about the varied type and the benefits and drawbacks of every one before purchasing one. These systems scan the market steadily for the best hot stocks. Stocks are influenced daily by foreseeable information and arithmetic.

This implies you immediately know which stocks are making a gain. You can purchase inexpensive early and sell higher later earning loads of bucks each day or thousands of bucks each week on your investment with the best securities dealing system. The advantages of an automatic stock dealing robotic system are great. This has 2 implications-you can sell stock that you suspect is over valued and buy stock that you think is under valued. As a worth financier, you'll naturally be looking to choose stocks that trade below what you suspect is the natural price and then expect the share price to fix itself upwards. Over the long run, stock costs will have a tendency to reflect the inbuilt or true cost of the company. The 2 doubtful factors here on the precision of your inbuilt price guesstimate and the time taken for the share price correction. So we see that it is easy to be a successful trader by utilizing a smart mixture of qualitative and quantitative research.
